Nonni’s
Nonni's is the number one brand of biscotti sold in the United States.
Nonni’s products can be found in mass merchandise stores, club stores, grocery stores, coffee shops and other coffee destinations. Nonni’s produces its biscotti in two facilities that use state-of-the-art, continuous flow tunnel ovens and the original family recipe.
Wind Point acquired Nonni’s in February 2011. Our value creation plan for Nonni’s includes launching related products under the Nonni’s brand name, introducing new varieties of biscotti, and expanding distribution. In addition, Wind Point plans to complete add-on acquisitions of complementary cookie or snack food products to transform Nonni’s into a leading provider of premium snack foods.
Wind Point acquired Nonni’s in partnership with Dave Beré. Dave previously worked with Wind Point as CEO of Bakery Chef, a Wind Point portfolio company from 1998-2003. Dave was most recently President of Dollar General and has previously held positions as CEO of McCain Foods USA ($1 billion P&L) and President of Quaker Oats’ Breakfast Division ($1.5 million P&L).
